I think article was very interesting about ocean algeis can effect climate change. I also thought what was interesting was when it talk about how much algie can be produced depending on the weather. In my opinion, this article talked about all kinds of interesting things.

This article was very interesting because it talked about how global warming can be caused by greenhouse gases since 1950, causing more heatwaves, droughts, and higher sea level. Also, in the article someone said, "Scientist will not be able to solve the future climate problem because climate is changing too fast." Now in my opinion I agree with this guys statement because climate does change fast and we humans don't know whats going on during those changes which makes everything a mystery for the scientists.

I thought that this article was very interesting because i know what algae is but this article taught me so much more about it. What really stood out to me is that sunday studies found that a type of microscopic algae that can produce 500 generations a year or more than one a day can still thrive when exposed to warmer temperatures and levels of ocean acidification predicted for the mid-2100s. I also found out the Sunday's study showed that algae, taken from water 15 degrees C (59 Fahrenheit) warm off Norway, tended to evolve into a smaller size in higher temperatures in experiments lasting more than a year but also grew faster, producing a larger mass overall.

I think this article is very interesting because I learned a lot about how ocean algae is formed. Something that i found interesting is that a study showed that a type of microscopic algae can produce 500 generations a year.

I think it is a great article and it explains so much detail. I think the the problem with studies is everyday the world is changing, what was happening in the oceans during the study will not take into account the new oil spills or drilling creating sink holes. So although that gives the impression we have all this time to just keep polluting, we don’t. Everyday the situation worsen, these studies cannot ever be consider completely relevant anymore until all the drilling and pollution stops, even then things will happen such as sink holes earthquakes that change the ecosystem. The heating of the planet is out of control etc. Great study but oceans are way worse off and they are still drilling and polluting today making conditions unlivable. Scientists says from A U.N. panel it is at least 95 percent probable that man made of greenhouse gases are the main cause of global warming since 1950, causing more heatwaves, droughts and rising sea levels.

Great job so far by many of you for your posts. For a few people, please make sure to discuss what the article is talking about. Do not just write it was an interesting article. Explain why or why not. Comment on other students' opinions of the articles as well.

In my opinion I liked this article, there was so much detail put into everything about algae. I never knew there could be a microscopic algae that could make 500 generations a year. Its pretty crazy how algae can change sizes just a slight temperature change. With all of the algae changing there temperature often, this could effect the ocean in negative and positive ways. Scientists can figure out the way to use algae as a tool to control the temperature of the water possibly.

I find this article to be very interesting because climate change is a big topic in our society we live in right now. Our oceans and world is changing with the warmer climate and the use of factories and cars. One of the study's I found interesting was that a type of microscopic algae can produce 500 generations a year and that the prediction of warmer temperatures and levels of ocean acidification predicted for 2100. Another topic I never knew about was that man-made greenhouse gasses are warming the planet. This article taught me a lot about how our climate is changing and how the ocean is changing in many ways.

I think many people should consider reading this article because not only is it useful for us and our environment but it also gives us a hint on what the future holds with global warming. It also reminds us that not only can climate change effect us but it can effect coral life under water.
