I thought the article was interesting because it shows how the human brain started to shrunk. It became shrunken for the past 10,000 to 20,000 years. And the article also explains our body size and they go into more detail about why our brains have been shrunken for a long time.

I thought the article was very interesting explaining about how the human brain has shrunk over the past 10,000 to 20,000 years. I also thought it was interesting saying that one of the reasons is because are nervous system is bigger since the human body is growing.

Its cool that the way we live may have affected brain size. Also that domesticated animals have smaller brains than their wild.

This article explains to us that our brains are very very important. Just like our body as we get elder the brain grows as well. It also says that is could shrink. I have always thought the the brain I had when I was born is the same size as now. This article proves my theory wrong.

our brains have become smaller in the past 10,000 to 20,000 years. Brain size is scaled to body size because a larger body requires a larger nervous system to service it

I found this article very interesting and made me curious because its hard to believe that our human brain has been becoming smaller in the past 10,000 to 20,000 years. Our brains have been doing this because our bodies are getting smaller because we haven't had an ice age in 10,000 years, which made our bodies big to keep us warm. Another fact I found interesting was how our brains react to technology and keep our brain smaller from them giving us information instead of reading books.

this article tells us when we get older are brain gets bigger and when we are younger are brains are smaller. that makes sense because as you age you get more intelligence. this is just like we talked about in school today.technology is really bad for our brains and it could make it shrink.

I always thought that human brains have grown in the past 10,000-20,000 years. Also the brain has to do with body size and I didn't know that either.

I thought it was really interesting that our brain is affected by the way we live and grow and as someone gets older their brain gets bigger or it could get smaller it also says that the human brain has been getting smaller in the past 20,000 years

I thought this article was pretty cool because it explained how the human brain has actually gotten smaller over 10,000 to 20,000 years! It's crazy that that is possible. It also is cool how the brain can be affected by the way that we live and grow!

I never knew that the brain size or body size effected so much.the Brain size is scaled to body size because a larger body requires a larger nervous system to service it. As bodies became smaller, so did brains. A smaller body also suggests a smaller pelvic size in females, so selection would have favored the delivery of smaller-headed babies..

I thought it was very interesting that our brain size is scaled by our body size because if your body is larger than it requires a larger nervous system. I also found it interesting that as the body becomes smaller so do brains

I think this article was very interesting and we need to be less intelligent the more we move out of natural clans groups and tribes to mega societies. Mega societies require mostly the ability to follow, obey and make gains, hence the increase in gray matter needed for for speaking, comprehending the speech of others, reading and writing. The full range of human functionality, the ability to feel compassion, abstract affection, responsibility, loyalty, work in a group mode, is not needed in command and control alienated mega societies. Check out, the more "Modern" a society is, the more lacking the range of human functionality of its members is. The deterioration can happen very quickly, just listen to your grand parents when they talk about the loss of values and natural healthy interactions they have witnessed in their lifetime. We don't know how far down can this process go, this is what is so scary about it.

I thought the article was very interesting because the human brain has shrunk over the past 10,000 to 20,000 years. I also thought it was interesting saying that one of the reasons is because are nervous system is bigger since the human body is growing. Also, most of the shrinking is caused by watching television too much or by using drugs that can cause brain damage.
